Dr. Delin Duan is a Professor at the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingdao. He graduated from the Ocean University of China, and finished his post-doc at Tokyo University. He has been a visiting scholar at Harvard University and Stanford University, and also served as a Professor at Hokkaido University and Tohoku University. His research interests encompass Algal genetics and breeding, seaweeds development and culture, seaweeds food and functional components. So far, he has published about 160 SCI papers and 5 books/monographs.
