Dear prof Delin

I am doing some global modelling for site suitability for offshore kappaphycus cultivation. Preliminary results suggests China is not suitable for offshore kappaphycus cultivation because (1) during Chines winter (January) it is too cold (even in the south of China) and (2) during summer, offshore Nitrogen concentrations are too low. Often concentrations are higher near shore, so it could be possible in your summer period near the shore.

Do you agree with these model outcomes, do they make sense to you? Maybe you have more information on this which you could share?

Thank you
